Short Counselor Bio…
I think I wanted to be a teacher since I was 4 years old; I would recruit (torture) the youngest neighborhood kids to play school in my makeshift garage-classroom. While growing up in Phoenix, I graduated from Arizona State University and right away, I got a real job teaching school, Language Arts to middle school kids. My life dream and what a blast it was! Over the next 32 years, things have changed somewhat. I traded hot weather for cold weather and expanded my teaching career to include guidance counseling. Here I am…at a brand new school, with the best job in the district, working with the best students ever! I am so excited for our 9th graders and am looking forward to a great school year.
